BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

  • To secure your spot in the workshop, a $150 deposit is required.

  • Payments made via PayPal are subject to a 5.42% fee to cover processing costs.

  • I understand that plans can change. If you cancel more than a month before the workshop, your fee will be refunded minus the deposit and any transaction fees (e.g., PayPal). If you cancel within a month of the workshop, I can only refund 50% of the workshop fee unless a new participant fills the spot. In that case, you’ll receive a full refund.

  • In the rare event that I need to cancel, you’ll receive a full refund, including the deposit. However, I won’t be able to reimburse travel expenses or other costs related to your trip.

  • For peace of mind, especially if you’re less experienced with travelling, I recommend getting travel insurance to cover cancellations, missed flights, or similar situations. Please note that there are no partial refunds if you miss or choose to skip any days of the workshop.

REQUIREMENTS/ GEAR (The boring stuff)

  • A digital camera with a wide-angle lens (preferably a 28mm or 35mm prime) and familiarity with its settings.

  • Enough batteries and SD card space for 1,000+ photos per day.

  • A laptop or Tablet with Lightroom or Capture One software to review, flag, and rate photos daily. (I’ll have mine with me, but you’ll need yours ideally)

  • Comfortable walking shoes and long pants. Expect long days with over 20,000+ steps

DETAILS

  • The 19th and 20th are fully part of the workshop, so please ensure you arrive on the 18th or earlier and depart on the 21st or later.

  • This workshop offers an immersive street photography experience, combining daily shooting, theory sessions, personalized assignments, and photo reviews. Groups are small (max 4 people), ensuring everyone gets plenty of time with me.

  • We’ll work in pairs, small groups, or solo, with flexible meeting points for breaks or regrouping. The focus is on creating unique, candid shots while respecting the community and avoiding staged photos. We’ll also review and discuss our work together daily.

  • You'll observe my approach to shooting and engaging with strangers while receiving assignments tailored to your interests and goals. We’ll also cover technical, ethical, and creative aspects of street photography through discussions and Q&A sessions.

  • A group chat will help with pre-workshop planning, like travel logistics and getting to know each other.

  • Accommodation isn’t included, but I’ll suggest options. Ideally, we should all stay in the same area.

  • This is a raw, authentic experience. We’ll explore local spots, eat at neighbourhood joints, and focus on spontaneous, meaningful photography
